Disney Challenge Day 9: Favorite Classic Movie

(Source)

While I spent many hours of childhood watching Disney princess movies, there were also times that I especially wanted to watch others - like The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan - and of course, Robin Hood.

I don't know why the characters in Robin Hood were all turned into animals.  That's not typical of the other movies released around the same time (those mentioned above and more).  But in this case, I think it definitely enhanced the movie and made all of the characters more loveable!  I remember laughing with my dad over Prince John and Sir Hiss' antics, being terrified that Robin wouldn't escape the tower, and wearing my Mickey Mouse blanket on my head à la Maid Marian.

I haven't watched this movie with Lincoln yet, but I think we will have to give it a try soon!

Make sure you follow along on the Chameleon Girls Facebook page and the Disney 30 Day Challenge Pinterest Board for each day's challenge!  Plus, you can read all of my favorites here on the blog!

  1. I LOVE this movie! It's gotta be one of the most quotable movies ever. I often have random lines like, "PJ! I like that name! Snakes, put it on my luggage," pop into my head.
