Heads up, new parents. The sippy cup will become the bane of your existence before your child is grown. It doesn't seem to matter how many you have. They all seem to end up in the vast void where missing socks and toys apparently all congregate to aggravate unsuspecting parents. Just yesterday, Lincoln was crawling around the house and shouted "CUP" when peering under our bed. Turns out that two of the sippy cups in our collection had found their way there.
Regardless of how the sippy cups find their way into the void, it can also be a challenge to find one that works just right. We've had good success with our Nuby cups - like the Flip-It Easy Grip, Super Straw, and the Cool Sipper - so I was happy to give the Gator Grip Pop-Up Sipper a try.
Lincoln, at almost two and a half, loves this cup, but has not entirely figured out how it works yet. Or maybe he has - and he's just thwarting me. He doesn't quite have the dexterity to pull the snap-top up, so he gets a little frustrated if I have closed it. And I usually do close it after I notice he takes a drink - as he likes to turn it upside down and watch the water pour. I'm thinking this will be great for him in a few more months, probably closer to age 3.
It's a fun and functional cup, and since it's from Nuby I know it is BPA-free! That makes it a winner in my book.
You can find the Nuby Gator Grip Pop-Up Sipper at many online and local retailers, including Buy Baby Direct, Diapers.com, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Sears. Make sure you follow along with Nuby on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram to keep up with all the latest products and promotions!
