"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

Lincoln - He played with this hanger for hours, until I finally took it after I caught him beating on the piano with it like a hammer.
Addie - Books are her favorite, favorite thing.

  1. Love that a hanger provided so much fun! My son is obsessed with my necklaces and when I let him have a beaded on that I don't care much about, he plays with it for ages! (Hi from SITS girls!) =)

  13. Ha! Hangers and books are two of my son's favorite things right now. He loves to help us with the laundry (for about five minutes anyway, until he gets bored). And he can't go to bed at night without reading a book beforehand (I wish he was such a stickler for brushing his teeth). :) #SITSBlogging

    1. I know, I can't wait to see them all together. I might have to make a photo book of just these portraits.

  23. Its a wonderful idea. When my kids were born, I tried to take one picture a day for the first month, and one roll of film a month (that dates me, huh) every month for the first year. I treasure those photos now, especially the everyday, nothing special ones that were a real glimpse into our lives back then.

  24. Does it count if I take the pictures, and never do anything with them? This actually inspires me to get the pictures together so I can really look back over them for years to come. Thanks for the idea.

    1. I have soooo many photos that I haven't done anything with yet. I keep thinking - at least if I take them, there might be time later to print and display them. Right?! :)
