"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."
Lincoln - He played with this hanger for hours, until I finally took it after I caught him beating on the piano with it like a hammer.
Addie - Books are her favorite, favorite thing.

Love that a hanger provided so much fun! My son is obsessed with my necklaces and when I let him have a beaded on that I don't care much about, he plays with it for ages! (Hi from SITS girls!) =)
ReplyDeleteMy son loves my jewelry, too!
DeleteVisiting from SITS girls, spreading some love! Great blog x

ReplyDeleteAlso stopping by from the SITS comment love :) Have a great week!
They really can be amused by just about anything!
Deleteohmigawsh - I need to jump on this challenge for portraits of my children... INTENTIONALLY! I love that Adelaide loves books and oh, wow - that headband is fabulous! There are lots of JULIES in Group 6 for comment love - I am grateful we are each a part of that phenomenon! Happy MONDAY!
ReplyDeleteI really really love this project - it definitely forces me to be intentional with my photography!
DeleteVery lovely pics. Your children are adorable :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how a simple item can provide so much entertainment? Visiting from SITS Girls!
ReplyDeleteIt's hilarious what they choose to play with all the time!
DeleteAw, these are such adorable pictures! Really nicely framed too :)
ReplyDeleteAww, children are my weakness. They are SOOO cute. Fabulous and adorable. #SITSBlogging
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to take a photo every week! I love the hanger - no need to ever buy toys!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am loving this project so much!
DeleteYour kids are so precious. Love the name Lincoln! I'm stopping in from Sits!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! We love his name, too. :)
DeleteSo cute! I love taking pictures of my kids just doing their normal everyday activities. Helps me remember all of those moments.
ReplyDeleteThe everyday photos almost always turn out to be my favorites. :)
DeleteGorgeous pictures, such cute kids!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea.

Thank you!
DeleteHa! Hangers and books are two of my son's favorite things right now. He loves to help us with the laundry (for about five minutes anyway, until he gets bored). And he can't go to bed at night without reading a book beforehand (I wish he was such a stickler for brushing his teeth). :) #SITSBlogging
ReplyDeleteWe're working on teeth brushing here, too!
DeleteMy girls love to read!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great habit for them to develop. :)
DeleteToo cute! I need to pull out my new camera and get started on snapping moments with the kids.
ReplyDeleteYeah, definitely - it's such a great project. :)
DeleteAdorable. Especially the little lady who loves to read. :)

DeleteThat is absolutely beautiful! I am definitely going to try this. #sitsblogging
ReplyDeleteI really love this project - it's so fun and will be amazing to look back on in a few years.
DeleteYour little ones are adorable! I love the picture idea - these photos really seem to capture the moment - great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! :)
DeleteBeautiful! You will have such a treasure when you're done the 52 weeks! :) #sits
ReplyDeleteI know, I can't wait to see them all together. I might have to make a photo book of just these portraits.
DeleteIts a wonderful idea. When my kids were born, I tried to take one picture a day for the first month, and one roll of film a month (that dates me, huh) every month for the first year. I treasure those photos now, especially the everyday, nothing special ones that were a real glimpse into our lives back then.
ReplyDeleteReal life photos are THE BEST.
DeleteDoes it count if I take the pictures, and never do anything with them? This actually inspires me to get the pictures together so I can really look back over them for years to come. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteComing at you from the SITS Comment Love Tribe!
I have soooo many photos that I haven't done anything with yet. I keep thinking - at least if I take them, there might be time later to print and display them. Right?! :)
