Wordless Wednesday - Om Nom Nom

27 weeks, 5 days.

I don't blog much anymore. In case you haven't noticed.

I also don't sleep much. Even though I need more sleep.

I also don't craft much. And that makes me sad. :(

But I am done with fall drama classes. I am about half done with Christmas shopping. And I have a relatively free schedule from now until baby...and then three months of maternity leave. So I am hopeful. Someday....someday I will be caught up.

Sad to report that I don't think 2010's 20 batches of cookies resolution is going to happen. I have the recipe for Batch #6 sitting on my kitchen counter. It's been there for weeks. I'm always out of one ingredient or another. Right now it's eggs. Oh well.

Like Wow, Scoob, It's the Whole Gang! Halloween Costumes 2010.

Our church had a Trunk or Treat event this Halloween, and I decided that we needed to participate.  The instructions were to decorate your trunk and be prepared to hand out tons of candy. 

I kind of think that decorating the trunk was not enough, so I had to come up with an elaborate theme and decorate ourselves too.

So I rounded up Andrew, plus my brother and a friend, and a whole mess of thrift store costume pieces...and we came up with this.

I know, I know.  We're missing a dog.  But to me that seemed like a lot of extra work!

Our trunk actually didn't have many decorations.   I spent too much time figuring out the costume specifics.

There was a contest going on - everyone who attended got to vote for their favorite trunk.  Fred, aka Andrew, may or may not have given kids some ominous looks to encourage their votes (just kidding).

Everyone was really excited when a little Scooby showed up and wanted to pose with our gang!

My purple Daphne dress was the only thing that actually had to be made.  Everything else came from thrift stores (Shaggy's shirt, Velma's sweater, Fred's sweater) and some things, surprisingly, were already in my costume collection (Velma's skirt, Fred's pants.  Yes.  Those blue pants).

The night was freezing and I was wearing 6-inch platform heels, but it was a blast.  Can you even tell I am 22 weeks pregnant?! 

19 weeks, 5 days.

Whoa. The time is flying.

I'm super tired. all the time. There is no apparent end to exhaustion. I'm also sad to report that I'm not one of those women who feels beautiful and "glows" while pregnant. I wish that were the case.

Just under 4 days to our 20-week ultrasound, when we hopefully get to find out if the little person is a prince or a princess. I'm so excited I can't stand it.

Had a massive organizing spree on my house this weekend. Maybe this is a good sign that a part of the real me is still hiding in here somewhere??? It's kind of hard to find her these days. :)
