Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I'm actually hoping to get a head start on mine this week. I know, I know...it's still a couple weeks before Thanksgiving, but I will be so much more relaxed this holiday season if I can concentrate on fun things like baking cookies, making crafts, and just snuggling during the chilly weather.
So, if I'm not planning to grab only Black Friday deals, you may wonder what my shopping strategy is, and that's easy - consignment sales. Or, more specifically, the Just Between Friends Holiday Consignment Sale in Lees Summit, MO.
The Holiday sale is a smaller scale event than the large spring and fall sales. You'll generally find mostly toys offered at 50-90% off retail prices! When it comes to holiday budgets, every dollar counts - and my toddlers certainly don't care whether or not their Christmas gifts come in a brand-new box (in fact, if they do, I usually remove them ahead of time anyway)!
Plus, the benefits are not just for shoppers! I didn't get my act together this year, but I wish I had had the time to consign in this sale - because this is the greatest way for moms to clear out right before the holiday season, when STUFF seems to multiply in your home!
